Càirdeas (pronounced kahr-ches) is an annual gathering of adults united by a passion for the traditional bagpipe music of Scotland.
Once per year, this group gathers in the scenic hills of Vermont to set aside daily routines in favor of a week of learning Celtic music from some of the most renowned Scottish folk musicians in the world. With a focus on bellows-blown Scottish bagpipes, instructors lead participants in learning new tunes, improving their skills and connecting students with the rich tradition of Celtic folk music.
Please explore this website to learn more about this unique and incredibly special group, and join us for the 32nd annual gathering in the summer of 2020.
